Genus PHYLLODACTYLUS - Leaf-Toed Geckos

A widespread genus, species being found in every continent and one member being the only native gekkonine lizard to be found in North America. However, few are seen in captivity.

Phyllodactylus xanti ? S. & Baja California> ? Rock-dwelling species found in desert areas of the above regions. This is the only member of the Gekkoninae found in the US.
